WipEout

WipEout is a futuristic anti-gravity racing game developed and published by Psygnosis, and was a launch title for the PlayStation in Europe. Set in 2052, players compete in the F3600 racing league across multiple tracks, choosing from four teams each offering two craft with distinct handling characteristics.

This is the original UK release, presented in a Multiway Jewel One Disk case with no hologram on the case. The single disc release is in English and carries the serial SCES-00010. Released on 29 September 1995, this was part of the PlayStation’s European launch lineup.

A notable detail of this variant is the yellow ‘Music By’ sticker on the case, crediting the artists behind the game’s celebrated electronic soundtrack. The packaging situation across variants is worth noting: some editions include dual manuals covering English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch in a double box, while others ship with a single manual in a Full PAL Case.
