WipEout

WipEout is a futuristic anti-gravity racing game developed and published by Psygnosis, a European PlayStation launch title and one of the most culturally significant games of the mid-1990s. Set in 2052, it combined sharp graphic design with an electronic music soundtrack that helped define the console’s early identity. This original UK release, dated 29 September 1995, carries serial SCES-00010 and comes in a Full Jewel PAL case without a hologram on the case, in English throughout. No loose paperwork is included, but the case features a yellow “Music By” sticker listing the featured artists, a promotional addition that reflects the game’s deliberate emphasis on its soundtrack as a selling point. Research notes indicate this release also exists in a double-box format with dual language manuals, alongside the single-manual Full Jewel PAL case. Collectors should look for the artist sticker on the case, as intact examples add both authenticity and period character to this iconic early PAL release.
