Ridge Racer is an arcade racing game developed by Namco and published in PAL territories by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. One of the PlayStation’s most prominent launch titles, it demonstrated the console’s polygon rendering capabilities at a time when 3D racing games were still genuinely novel. This is the rental release, distributed across Italy, Germany, France, the UK, Netherlands, and Spain, with a release date of 29th September 1995, concurrent with the standard retail launch.
