Ridge Racer

Ridge Racer is a 1993 arcade racing game developed by Namco and ported to the PlayStation as a launch title, published in PAL territories by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. The PAL physical landscape is unusually rich for an early system release, with nine catalogued variants spanning the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Release types include Original, Reprint, Platinum, Rental and Value Series Black Label issues, all on a single disc. Case formats vary between Full Jewel PAL, the early Multiway Jewel Two Disk packaging, the Mini Jewel Black Boardered PAL used for Platinum, and the dedicated Rental Case.
