Ridge Racer is an arcade racing game developed by Namco and published in PAL territories by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Originally a flagship PlayStation launch title, it received several re-releases throughout the console’s lifespan as its popularity endured. This is the Platinum budget re-release, issued on 1st March 1997 across Italy, Germany, France, the UK, Netherlands, and Spain. Platinum was Sony’s value-priced label, bringing successful titles to a wider audience at a lower price point once their initial retail cycle had concluded. The release is housed in a Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case, the slimmer format standard to the Platinum line, and the case carries a hologram. The EAN barcode is 0711719657422.
