Ridge Racer

Ridge Racer is an arcade racing game developed by Namco and published in PAL territories by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Ported from Namco’s System 22 arcade hardware, it was one of the PlayStation’s landmark launch titles, showcasing the console’s polygon capabilities at a time when 3D racing games were still a novelty. This original PAL release launched on 29th September 1995 and was distributed across the UK, Netherlands, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. It is presented in a standard Full Jewel PAL case, which carries no hologram. A Namco single-sided thin flyer (0001) is included as loose paperwork. No case stickers or bundled demo discs are present. The EAN barcode is 0711719610021. The game is English-language throughout. This is one of two original PAL case formats documented for this release, the other being a Multiway Jewel Two Disk variant.
