Battle Arena Toshinden is a 3D fighting game developed by Tamsoft and published in PAL territories by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. One of the first fighting games to feature fully polygonal characters in a three-dimensional arena, it was a notable PlayStation launch title across Europe. This is the Platinum budget re-release, issued on 1st March 1997 across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Netherlands. Platinum was Sony’s value-priced label, bringing popular titles to a wider audience at a reduced price point once their initial retail run had concluded.
