Air Combat is a combat flight simulation game developed and published by Namco, the game that started the Ace Combat franchise. This Value Series Black Label edition, released on 26 January 2001, is a late-life budget reissue under the SCES-00007# serial, presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with a hologram on the case. Distribution covered the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Netherlands, with English as the sole language. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demos are included. Research notes confirm that this variant is identified by its red front cover carrying a yellow Value Series band, with the red manual front also featuring the yellow band, setting it apart from the reprint edition that shares the same EAN barcode but lacks this branding. The yellow Value band on both case and manual is the definitive identifier for collectors distinguishing between these two very similar pressings.
