Rapid Reload

Rapid Reload, known in Japan as Gunners Heaven, is a run-and-gun action game developed by Media Vision Entertainment and published in PAL territories by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Released in 1995, the game tasks players with blasting through side-scrolling levels as one of two treasure hunters, with a variety of weapon types and a grappling hook adding depth to the action.

One PAL variant is currently catalogued, distributed across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, and Norway. The release launched on 29th September 1995 as an original edition, presented in a standard Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case. It is a single-disc release in English only, with no loose paperwork or bundled demo discs documented.

Rapid Reload is a well-regarded but relatively overlooked PAL launch title, and original complete copies have a dedicated following among collectors of PlayStation-era run-and-gun games.
