Novastorm

Novastorm is a rail shooter developed and published by Psygnosis, originally released on 3DO and Sega CD in 1994 before being ported to PlayStation in 1995. The game places players in the cockpit of the Scavenger 4 space fighter, battling through environments ranging from canyons to cities in a high-intensity on-rails action experience, bolstered by full motion video sequences.

The PAL database currently catalogues one variant, carrying serial SCES-00011, which covers releases across a wide range of European territories including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. All documented releases are Original editions presented in a Multiway Jewel Two Disk case with no hologram on the case. The game’s PAL release is English-language only across all territories. No loose paperwork or bundled demo discs have been documented for this variant.

As an early PAL PlayStation title from a prominent Psygnosis release period, Novastorm holds reasonable collector interest, particularly given its multi-country distribution under a single variant and its roots as a cross-platform curio also known as Scavenger 4 in Japan.
