Jumping Flash!
SCES-00003
Initially Released 1 October 1995
Jumping Flash! is a first-person platform game co-developed by Exact and Ultra, published in PAL territories by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Following a robotic rabbit named Robbit through a series of vertically structured 3D levels, it was designed partly as a technology showcase for the PlayStation and remains one of the more inventive titles from the console’s launch period.
Two PAL variants are currently catalogued, distributed across a wide range of European territories including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, and Norway. Both variants share the same serial and are single-disc, English-language releases with no loose paperwork or bundled demo discs documented. The original edition, released on 1st October 1995, is presented in a standard Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case. A rental edition was also produced, packaged in a dedicated Rental Case, also without a hologram.
As an early and distinctive PlayStation title, Jumping Flash! has a loyal collector following, and rental copies in particular are increasingly difficult to find in good condition.
