Xevious 3D-G+ is a scrolling shooter developed and published by Namco, updating the classic Xevious franchise with 3D visuals for the PlayStation. The game maintains the vertical shooter gameplay of the original while modernising the presentation.
This continental European Original release carries serial SCES-00736 and was distributed across France, Italy, and Spain under a combined pressing with its own EAN barcode. It comes in the Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case with a single English-language disc. Released on 15 August 1997, it is one of three PAL variants. The France, Italy, and Spain grouping under one pressing is consistent with the approach taken for other Namco titles of this period, consolidating smaller continental markets. This pressing is the least comonly encountered of the three Xevious variants in northern European collections.
