X-COM: Enemy Unknown Launch Release (France)

X-COM: Enemy Unknown is a science fiction strategy game from MicroProse Software, who both developed and published it. The player runs a secret organisation that fights an alien invasion through turn-based missions and careful base management. This is the French Original release of serial SLES-00054, dated 15 November 1995. It comes as a single disc in a Full Jewel PAL case with No Hologram, and the disc supports English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The EAN barcode is 5015352186352. Loose paperwork documented with this copy is a MicroProse registration card, while the case has a round white Sony sticker showing a Pro 8.5/10 rating. It is one of five country variants catalogued for the game, and the French entry sits alongside the UK, German, Italian and Spanish pressings as part of the same original wave of European releases.
