X-COM: Enemy Unknown

X-COM: Enemy Unknown is a science fiction strategy game developed and published by MicroProse Software, combining turn-based tactical combat with strategic base management as the player defends Earth from a covert alien invasion. The PlayStation version is a conversion of the acclaimed 1994 PC title originally released under the name UFO: Enemy Unknown.

This is the Spanish market Original release, distinguished by its unique EAN barcode from the other country-specific PAL pressings. It is presented in a Full Jewel PAL case containing a single disc, with no hologram on the case. Language support covers English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The release includes a MicroProse registration card as loose paperwork and is documented as carrying a round white Sony Pro promotional sticker on the case. No bundled demo discs are present. The recorded release date is 15 November 1995, making this one of the earlier PAL PlayStation releases. The existence of distinct Spanish market pressings is of note to regional variant collectors.
