Worms Armageddon Launch Release

Worms Armageddon is a turn-based artillery strategy game developed by Team17 Software, with the PlayStation release published by Hasbro Interactive and Microprose. Players command squads of cartoon worms and wipe out their rivals using an absurd selection of weapons on destructible landscapes.

This is the Original pressing under serial SLES-02332, released on 29 October 1999. It is the Scandinavian and Benelux leaning language version, offering Danish, Dutch, French, Norwegian and Swedish text. The Full Jewel PAL case carries a Hologram B on the case, and the release is a single disk. No EAN barcode has been recorded for this copy.

With five languages on one disk, this is one of the more distinctive language mixes among the six PAL variants catalogued for Worms Armageddon. Collectors interested in regional packaging will find it a worthwhile addition, particularly as the first pressing of this language set.
