World League Soccer '98

World League Soccer ‘98 is a football simulation developed by Silicon Dreams Studio and published by Eidos Interactive. The game covers eight major European leagues alongside US and Japanese competitions, offering 145 teams, adjustable weather and pitch settings, and commentary from Peter Brackley and Ray Wilkins.

This UK Original release carries serial SLES-00717 with its own distinct EAN barcode, separate from the Italy and Spain pressing despite sharing the serial. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram A on the case, and contains a single disc noting English, Italian, and Spanish language support. Released on 29 May 1998, it is one of four PAL variants. The UK pressing is the most readily encountered version for British collectors and represents the standard entry point for those looking to add this title to a PAL football collection.
