World League Soccer '98

World League Soccer ‘98 is a football simulation developed by Silicon Dreams Studio and published by Eidos Interactive, featuring eight major European leagues, US and Japanese competitions, 145 teams, and live commentary from Peter Brackley and Ray Wilkins with motion capture from Les Ferdinand.

This southern European Original release carries serial SLES-00717 and was distributed across Italy and Spain under a shared pressing. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram A on the case, and contains a single disc supporting English, Italian, and Spanish. Released on 29 May 1998, it is one of four PAL variants. The localised language support for Italian and Spanish alongside English distinguishes this pressing from the UK-only English release. Collectors in Italy or Spain would have encountered this version at retail, and it is somewhat harder to source in northern European markets.
