WipEout

WipEout, developed and published by Psygnosis, is a landmark futuristic racing title and one of the definitive PlayStation launch games in Europe. Set in 2052, players pilot anti-gravity craft through the F3600 league, competing across circuits with a mix of speed, aggression, and power-up strategy.

This Original variant shares serial SCES-00010 with the Full Jewel PAL version but is distinguished by its Multiway Jewel One Disk case format, a less common packaging style that makes it of particular interest to case-variant collectors. It was released on 29 September 1995 and distributed across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands. The single-disc release is in English only, with no hologram on the case. The case carries a yellow ‘Music By’ sticker. As with the other Original release, dual manuals covered the six supported languages depending on the packaging configuration. The Multiway Jewel format is notably rarer to encounter in good condition, adding to the appeal of this variant.
