WipEout

WipEout is a futuristic anti-gravity racing game developed and published by Psygnosis, released as a launch title for the PlayStation in Europe in September 1995. Players compete in the F3600 racing league across global circuits, choosing from craft with differing speed, mass, and handling, while collecting weapons and power-ups mid-race.

This Original release carries serial SCES-00010 and was distributed across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands. It comes in the standard Full Jewel PAL case format with no hologram on the case, and contains a single disc. The case features a yellow ‘Music By’ sticker listing the artists whose tracks appear on the soundtrack. Research notes indicate that packaging varied: a double box configuration included dual manuals covering English, French, and German in one volume, and Spanish, Italian, and Dutch in another, while the Full PAL Case version contained a single manual. Released on 29 September 1995, this is among the earliest PAL PlayStation releases and remains a genuine collectors piece.
