Wing Commander III is a space combat simulation developed by Origin Systems, combining FMV-driven storytelling with tactical dogfighting missions as Blair fights for humanity against the Kilrathi. This original UK pressing, released on 29 March 1996, is the English-language edition and carries its own serial separate from the French and German versions.
Presented in a Multiway Jewel Four Disk case with no hologram on the case, the release contains four English-language discs. No loose paperwork or case stickers are documented, and no bundled demo was included.
The four-disc content and large Multiway case format are the defining physical characteristics of this pressing. Together with the French and German editions, it forms the three-variant PAL set for Wing Commander III, with each territory requiring its own serial-specific pressing for a complete collection.
