VR Baseball 99 Launch Release (France, Germany, UK)

VR Baseball 99 is a baseball game developed by VR Sports and published by Interplay, built around all 30 major league teams and the 1998 opening day rosters. Exhibition, season and home run derby modes are included, with a good range of gameplay options.

This is the Original PAL release, serial SLES-01325, and it is a single shared pressing for the UK, France and Germany. It was released on 1 August 1998. The game comes in a Full Jewel PAL case with one disc, and the case carries a Hologram A marking. The only language is English, which is the same across all three territories on the shared case. The EAN barcode is 5026102000163.

As the only PAL variant catalogued for the game, this entry serves as the definitive reference for the title. An enhanced Windows version followed later in 1998, but the PlayStation version remained the one that reached European shelves in this form.
