Vigilante 8 is a vehicular combat game developed by Luxoflux and published by Activision, set in an alternate 1975 America. Players choose from either the Vigilantes or the Coyotes in a conflict driven by an oil monopoly scheme, destroying rivals using armed and modified vehicles across varied arenas. This is the German original release, carrying its own serial SLES-01214, presented in a Full Jewel PAL case carrying a Hologram A on the case, on a single disc released on 26 June 1998. The disc carries a German localisation. The EAN barcode 5030917001796 identifies this pressing. One of four catalogued PAL variants, with the Germany and Italy pressings both carrying Hologram A on the case, in contrast to the Hologram B found on the UK and France variants.
