Versailles is a 3D adventure game developed and published by Cryo Interactive Entertainment in association with Canal+ Multimedia, adapted from the 1996 PC title Versailles 1685. Set in the Palace of Versailles on the summer solstice of 1685, the game casts players as a young valet attempting to uncover a conspiracy against Louis XIV. The PC original sold 500,000 copies in Europe by 2000. This is the UK original release, presented in a Full Jewel PAL case carrying a Hologram A on the case, on a single disc released on 14 April 1998. The disc is English-only.
