UEFA Striker Launch Release (UK)

UEFA Striker is a football game developed by Rage and published by Infogrames. It closed out the Striker series that began in 1992, and was known as Striker Pro 2000 in North America.

This is the UK Original release, serial SLES-01733, dated 10 October 1999. It comes in a Full Jewel PAL case and contains a single disk. The disk is multilingual, offering Dutch, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The EAN barcode is 3546430004487.

As the full-price first pressing for the UK, it is the reference copy for the British side of the game, ahead of the Best Of Infogrames and Value Series reissues. It is one of 15 PAL variants catalogued for UEFA Striker, so collectors tracking every country and release type will want it on the list, and checking the barcode is the simplest way to confirm it is the Original and not a later reissue.
