Ubik

Ubik is a tactical action and strategy game developed by Smart Dog and published by Cryo Interactive Entertainment, loosely based on Philip K. Dick’s novel. In a future setting of 2019, players assemble and lead a squad of specialists with diverse weapon and PSI abilities through corporate espionage missions.

This is the sole catalogued PAL variant, an Original release carrying serial SLES-00722 and distributed across the UK, France, and Germany under a single pressing. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram B on the case, and contains a single disc supporting English, French, and German. Released on 27 October 2000, this is among the later PAL PlayStation releases, arriving as the console’s retail presence was winding down in favour of the PlayStation 2. Cryo’s limited print runs and the late release date combine to make complete copies relatvely uncommon on the secondary market.
