Tomb Raider

Tomb Raider is Core Design’s landmark action-adventure title starring Lara Croft, published by Eidos Interactive and one of the defining games of the original PlayStation. This Riccochet budget edition, dated 8 September 2000, is a UK-only pressing presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with a hologram on the case.

Carrying the hash suffix serial, the release contains a single English-language disc. Documented loose paperwork includes an Eidos Eye-Trek Olympus Card, a promotional insert from the period. No case stickers or bundled demo were included.

The Riccochet label was an Eidos-specific budget re-release programme, and this pressing of Tomb Raider is one of the most often encountered budget editions of the game in the UK. Collectors should note that a related Value Series Black Label variant uses the same serial but adds a yellow band to the front cover, making the two visually distinguishable.
