Tomb Raider, developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive, is the action-adventure that first put Lara Croft on the PlayStation, sending her through ancient tombs in search of the Scion of Atlantis.

This is the UK Platinum release, dated 1 January 1999, when the game was reissued as part of Sony’s best-seller range. It comes in a Full Jewel PAL case carrying a Hologram B, with a single English-language disk and the EAN barcode 5032921003216.

Research notes record an unusual detail on the spine. The text is printed in white on the black label, rather than the standard black text colour seen across the wider Platinum range, which makes this a useful reference point when checking copies.
