Tomb Raider

Tomb Raider is Core Design and Eidos Interactive’s landmark 3D action-adventure, introducing Lara Croft to the world. This original PAL pressing was released on 25 November 1996 and distributed across the UK, Spain, Italy, and Netherlands.

Presented in a Multiway Jewel Two Disk case with no hologram on the case, the release contains a single English-language disc. Loose paperwork documented with this variant includes a Deathtrap Dungeon Competition Card. No case stickers or bundled demo were included.

The Multiway Two Disk case is a notable packaging format for a single-disc release, and its use here for the original Tomb Raider pressing makes this one of the more distinctive physical configurations in the game’s extensive PAL variant set. The competition card is also of period interest to collectors who appreciate original promotional inserts.
