Super Football Champ is an arcade-style football game developed by Taito Corporation and published by Mindscape, rooted in Taito’s Hat Trick Hero and Football Champ arcade series originating in 1990. The game brings energetic arcade football action to the PlayStation with fast-paced, direct gameplay.
This French-market Original release carries serial SLES-00715 and was distributed in France with its own dedicated EAN barcode. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a single English-language disc. Released on 1 October 1997, it is one of two PAL variants. The French pressing is the less commonly encountered of the two, and complete copies in good condition are modestly harder to source than the UK version. Given the limited documentation of this title overall, French-market copies are of particular interest for completionists.
