Sports Car GT is a 1999 racing game published by Electronic Arts, based on real GT sports car competition. The PlayStation edition was developed by Point of View and is a separate build from the PC version, with a more arcade leaning feel.
This is the Original release in French, dated 5 April 1999. It comes in a Full Jewel PAL case with a single disk, and the case carries a Hologram B. No country is recorded for this listing, so it sits under a shared pending entry. The EAN barcode is 5030931020445.
As the first pressing this is the baseline against which the later budget EA Classics and Value Series reissues are compared. The Original has different packaging and a different barcode to those reissues, which makes it easy to identify once you know what to look for. Sports Car GT has ten PAL variants catalogued overall, and this early French copy is a key piece of the set.
