Speed Freaks is a fast, weapon-filled kart racer developed by Funcom and published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. It supports two players, or four with a multitap, and is known as Speed Punks in North America.
This is the Original release for a central European edition, covering France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands in one shared pressing. It comes in a Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc, and the case carries a Hologram B sticker. The game is in English only. The EAN barcode is 0711719792529.
The catalogued release date is 15 September 1999, which is also the earliest PAL release for the game as a whole. Because several countries share this version, it is a useful copy for collectors who want a single representative first-run edition of the game, rather than hunting down each country separately.
