Soul Blade is a 3D weapons-based fighting game developed by Namco and published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, a home conversion of the Soul Edge arcade title that added new characters and modes. This continental European release covers France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands, carrying serial SCES-00577 and released on 1 May 1997. Presented in a Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case with a hologram on the case, the disc is in English. One of five PAL variants catalogued for this title, this pressing occupies a distinct EAN barcode from the UK-inclusive variants. Collectors assembling the full set of Soul Blade PAL releases should note that the hologram type differentiates several of these variants and is a key identification point.
