Soccer ‘97 is a football simulation developed by Silicon Dreams and published by Eidos Interactive, notable for its broadcast-style presentation featuring commentary from John Motson and Andy Gray, with Des Lynam hosting between-match segments. Player animations were captured from David Ginola using MotionBlending technology, giving the game a distinctive feel for its era.

This is the sole catalogued PAL variant, a UK Original released on 10 March 1997. It comes in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case, and contains a single disc. Despite being a UK release, the packaging supports five languages: English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The game offers league and cup modes, adjustable simulation settings, a six-versus-six indoor play mode, and multiplayer options. As the only known PAL pressing, this variant holds modest collector interest simply by vertue of being the single representative of the title in the PAL region.
