Shellshock

Shellshock is an action game developed and published by Core Design, released in 1996 and casting the player as part of a rogue anti-terrorist tank unit operating in a near-future military conflict.

This is the German original release dated 19 April 1996, presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case. The single-disc release is in German only. The research notes document that the front of the case bears the text “Komplett in Deutsch” and the manual is labelled “Spielanleitung,” clearly indicating a fully localised German edition. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are recorded. The database catalogues three PAL variants for Shellshock in total. The confirmed German-language localisation makes this a distinct variant from the French and UK pressings, and its explicit packaging declarations are a useful authentication detail for collectors.
