Shellshock

Shellshock is an action game developed and published by Core Design, released in 1996 and placing the player in command of a rogue anti-terrorist tank unit in a near-future military setting.

This is the French original release dated 19 April 1996, presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case. The single-disc release is in French only. Notably, the research notes confirm that the front of the case and manual carry a “Voix en Francais” notice, indicating localised French audio, which distinguishes this pressing from other regional variants. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are documented. The database catalogues three PAL variants for Shellshock in total. This French pressing is a dedicated localised edition and of particular interest to collectors tracking language-specific versions of early PS1 titles from Core Design’s catalogue.
