Running Wild Launch Release (Greece, Portugal, Spain)

Running Wild is a racing game from developer Blue Shift, published in Europe by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Players pick from six bipedal animals and race through six environments, two of which must be unlocked. The game was produced by Universal Interactive Studios, and Activision now holds the rights.

This is the Southern European Original release, sold in Spain, Greece and Portugal under serial SCES-01630 and dated 26 March 1999. It uses a Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram A on the case, and holds one disc with English as the language. The EAN barcode is 0711719767428, which distinguishes it from the other regional pressings.

It is one of five PAL variants catalogued for the game. The grouping of Spain, Greece and Portugal on one pressing makes it a useful entry for collectors who want to see how Sony split the European market for this title.
