Road Rage, Konami’s cyberpunk futuristic racer set in the Neo Kobe City of Snatcher fame, is widely regarded as an obscure and rare release in the European PAL market. This UK Original carries serial SLES-00543 and was released on 8 January 1997. It is a single-disc Full Jewel PAL release in English, with a Hologram on the case. The EAN barcode for this variant is currently unrecorded, which is a further indicator of its scarcity. Among the two PAL variants catalogued for Road Rage, the UK pressing is the more difficult of the two to document fully. The combination of rarity, Konami arcade heritage, and cyberpunk setting makes this one of the more coveted entries in the PAL racing catalogue.
