Rise 2: Resurrection

Rise 2: Resurrection is a 3D fighting game developed by Mirage Media and published by Acclaim Entertainment in 1996, serving as a sequel to Rise of the Robots. The game features eighteen robot fighters with improved graphics and animation over its predecessor, alongside an original hard-rock soundtrack partly composed by Queen guitarist Brian May.

This is the sole catalogued PAL variant, carrying serial SLES-00164 and released on 15 June 1996. It is housed in a Full Jewel PAL case containing a single disc, with no hologram on the case. The release covers the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands, with English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish all supported. No loose paperwork, case stickers, or bundled demo discs are included. With only one PAL variant catalogued, this broad multi-language original pressing is the definitive European physical edition, and the Brian May connection lends the title a certain novelty appeal for collectors.
