Ridge Racer is Namco’s groundbreaking arcade-to-PlayStation racing port, released as a launch title across Europe on 29 September 1995. This variant shares the same broad multi-territory distribution as the standard original release, covering the UK, Netherlands, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, and is in English throughout.

What distinguishes this pressing is its Multiway Jewel Two Disk case format, a larger hinged jewel case designed to accommodate multiple discs, used here for a single-disc release. No hologram is present on the case. The release includes two loose paperwork items: the Namco 0001 Single Sided insert and a Thin Flyer. No case stickers are recorded, and no bundled demo was included.

This alternate case format for the same original launch edition is a notable point of interest for collectors documenting PAL packaging variations.
