Ridge Racer Revolution is an arcade racing game developed by Namco and published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, the direct PlayStation sequel to Ridge Racer with hidden unlockable vehicles and link cable multiplayer added to the original’s fast-paced drift racing formula.
This is the earlier Central European original release dated 1 May 1996, covering France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy, and is distinguished by the absence of a hologram on the case. It shares the same EAN barcode as the Hologram B variant for the same territories, making physical inspection necessary to differentiate between the two pressings. The single-disc release is in English only. Documented loose paperwork includes a Green Registration Card and a Ridge Racer Revolution Sticker Sheet. No case stickers or bundled demo discs are recorded. Four PAL variants are catalogued in total for this title. The no-hologram case is indicative of an earlier production run, predating the application of hologram stickers to PAL releases.
