Resident Evil’s French Platinum release carries serial SLES-00227 and was distributed in France with French-only language content on a single disc in a Full Jewel PAL case. The front cover retains the “Version Francais” notice seen on the original French pressing. Developed by Capcom’s Production Studio 4 and published in Europe by Virgin Interactive, this Platinum edition represents the Sony Platinum tier re-release of the dedicated French localisation.
