RayStorm is a vertically scrolling shooter developed by Taito and published in Europe by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Players pilot the R-Gray starship against the Secilia Federation across eight stages, using a combination of direct fire and a lock-on system capable of targeting multiple enemies simultaneously.
This UK Original release carries serial SCES-00742 with its own distinct EAN barcode. It comes in the Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case with a single English-language disc. Released on 15 September 1997, it is one of three PAL variants. The UK pressing is the most naturally encountered version in British collections and is the standard entry point for UK-based shooter collectors. RayStorm is a well-regarded entry in the Taito Ray series and complete UK copies in the Mini Jewel format are reasonably findable.
