Ray Tracers is an arcade-style vehicular combat racing game developed by Taito Corporation and published in Europe by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Players join the Ray Tracers vigilante team to hunt down the armed gang Black Kaiser across high-speed futuristic city circuits, making use of nitro boosts and combat manoeuvres.
This UK Original release carries serial SCES-00741 with its own distinct EAN barcode. It comes in the Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case with a single English-language disc. Released on 10 September 1997, it is one of three PAL variants. The UK pressing is the most natural version for British collectors and is the most comonly found on the secondary market. The Mini Jewel format is shared across all three PAL pressings for this title.
