Psychic Detective

Psychic Detective is a live-action interactive movie game directed by John Sanborn, following psychic detective Eric Fox as he enters the minds of others to investigate a sinister case with multiple possible endings. This original PAL pressing, released on 1 April 1996, covers the UK, France, and Germany.

Presented in a Multiway Jewel Four Disk case with no hologram on the case, the release contains three English-language discs. No loose paperwork or case stickers are documented. Research notes explain that the three discs and a thick PAL manual were fitted into a dual jewel case by removing the rear disc holders, an inventive but practical packaging solution that collectors should be aware of when assessing completeness.

The modified case construction and three-disc FMV format make this one of the more physically distinctive releases in the early PAL PlayStation catalogue. Verifying the internal disc holder configuration is recommended when acquiring this variant.
