Pool Hustler Launch Release (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK)

Pool Hustler is a straightforward billiards simulation developed by Ornith and published by Activision, with ASK Corporation also credited. This is the Original PAL release, catalogued under serial SLES-01688 and dated 9 November 1999. It is a single multi-country edition covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, so a single English-language disk in a Full Jewel PAL case was sold across all five markets. The EAN barcode is 4907940130353.

The game offers six pool halls, 12 opponents to hustle, a lesson mode for beginners, a trick shot mode with 30 multiball shots and several rule sets including 8-Ball, 9-Ball, 14-1 and Rotation. Betting against the computer or a friend runs through most modes.

As the only catalogued variant, this is the PAL copy to look for. Check the barcode against the listing when buying, as it confirms you have the European pressing rather than an import from another region.
