Pitfall 3D: Beyond the Jungle

Pitfall 3D is a platform game developed by Activision’s internal Console Development Group, known in Europe as Pitfall: Beyond the Jungle, bringing the classic Pitfall Harry franchise into three dimensions. Players guide Pitfall Harry Jr., voiced by Bruce Campbell, through South American jungle environments and ruins beyond a dimensional rift.

This French-language Original release carries serial SLES-00836 and was distributed in France. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram A on the case, and contains a single French-language disc. Released on 4 June 1998, it is one of five PAL variants. The French pressing is one of the harder variants to find outside France. Pitfall 3D holds appeal for platformer collectors and fans of the original Pitfall series, and the PAL five-variant set reflects a thorough European localisation effort from Activision.
