Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee is a platform puzzle game developed by Oddworld Inhabitants and published by GT Interactive Software. Players guide the enslaved Mudokon Abe out of the RuptureFarms factory and across a hostile world, rescuing fellow slaves through a combination of platforming skill, environmental puzzles, and the game’s distinctive GameSpeak system.
This German-language Original release carries serial SLES-00839, a dedicated German serial. It was distributed in Germany and comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram A on the case, and contains a single German-language disc. Released on 15 September 1997, it is one of twelve PAL variants. A German Platinum re-release was also subsequently produced. The German Original is the primary target for German-market collectors and is the natural entry point for those assembling the German-language Oddworld PAL sub-set.
