Oddworld: L'Odyssee d'Abe

Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee is a platform puzzle game developed by Oddworld Inhabitants and published by GT Interactive Software, widely considered one of the most distinctive and acclaimed titles of the original PlayStation era. Players control the meek Mudokon slave Abe as he escapes the RuptureFarms meat processing factory and attempts to liberate his fellow enslaved workers from a grim fate.

This French-language Original release carries serial SLES-00838, a dedicated French serial, and was distributed in France. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram A on the case, and contains a single French-language disc. Released on 15 September 1997, it is one of twelve PAL variants for this title. The twelve-variant PAL set reflects the enormous commercial success and extensive localisation effort behind Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, which later received a remaster as Oddworld: New ’n’ Tasty in 2014. The French Original is one of the earlier and more naturalyl found continental variants.
