Ninja: Shadow of Darkness

Ninja: Shadow of Darkness is an action beat ’em up platformer developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive. Players guide the ninja Kurosawa through Feudal Japanese settings, battling waves of enemies and confronting massive end-of-level bosses while collecting potions and weapons.

This German-language Original release carries serial SLES-00758, a dedicated serial indicating genuine German localisation. It was distributed in Germany and comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram B on the case, and contains a single German-language disc. Released on 30 September 1998, it is one of four PAL variants. The German pressing is the standard version for German-market collectors and, like the French equivalent, is less frequently encountered in UK collections. The distinct serial for each language variant makes the four-variant PAL set a more intresting completionist target than a simple multi-territory pressing split.
