NHL FaceOff 2000 is an officially licensed ice hockey game developed by Solworks and published by 989 Sports, part of the long running FaceOff series from Sony. It offers Season, Exhibition and Quick Start modes, player trading and creation, and a Multi-Team feature for shared seasons. Philadelphia Flyers star John LeClair appears on the cover.
This is the German Original release, a single disc edition in a Full Jewel PAL case. Despite the German market, the game itself is in English only, so the localisation is limited to the packaging. The EAN barcode is 0711719145622.
It carries a catalogued release date of 31 March 2000 and is one of five PAL variants recorded for NHL FaceOff 2000. It is a useful companion for collectors who like to compare the regional pressings of Sony’s hockey titles.
